Youth Red Cross Society in a college wing ofIndian Red Cross Society of Chhattisgarh State branch at Raipur with honorable Governor as secretary at state level and district collector at district level. All students of the college are its member and beneficiaries."voluntary services for healthy society"is our main Mottoand many studens work ou behind it.In order to develop awareness of Healthy life style, youth Red Cross Society organises many healthy checkup camps,rallies and blood donation camp at or outside the college campus. Blood Donor group has been established to help the needy persons of society and college. Every year students of this college,the volunteer blood donors give blood to patients at different Hospital, nursing homes. Last year in 2018-19, on the eve of Republic Day 26 students donated blood at CIMS blood bank. In continuation of the voluntary service youth Red Cross has organised one day blood donation camp at the college campus. 28 units of blood were given to CIMS blood bank by college teachers and students. Next blood donation campis proposed on January2020.
Like wise blood donation, an awareness on eye donation in also proposed, yoga and meditation are also practised amongst students. we also organise world yoga Day, World Population Day, Diabetes day, AIDS Day ,and no Tobacco Day etc.to inculcate healthy and the humanitarian practice amongst student.Youth Red Cross Society of this college take initiatives of pure water facilities to college students by installing RO water filters and water supply. Students take part in clean campus program also.
