Academic Council

The Academic Council is the highest Academic body of an Autonomous institute; it is responsible for the maintenance of standards of teaching, education, examination and research activities of college. It is a body comprising of all the stakeholders to consider the matters of academic interests proposed by the departments /faculties /stakeholders and to take proper action there on. It supervises over the academic work of the departments, examination cell and gives directions regarding methods of instructions, evaluation and improvements in academic standards. It prescribes and approves the courses of study leading to the degrees of the institute. The Academic Council meets as often as necessary but not less than two times during an academic year. The term of Academic Council is for two years from the date of notification.
